Holiday Season Update December 19, 2018

This Year's Holiday Season Is Extra Special for CSA Families!
CSA's Holiday Sharing Program is off to a strong start with a very successful gift distribution event this past weekend. Thanks to the generosity of CSA donors, volunteers and an amazing staff, hundreds of children will enjoy a wonderful holiday season complete with great toys, books and other gifts.
"We were blown away by the generosity
of our supporters," says Volunteer Coordinator LaDrea Clark. "In addition to toys galore, donations of gift cards and stocking stuffers for teens came in at record numbers. The parents picking out gifts for their children were very excited and appreciative."
Special thanks to our friends at Hope's Corner who partnered with us to offer a children's program while parents shopped.

#BecauseICare Social Media Campaign
Earlier this month, we rolled out a new Facebook campaign featuring staff and supporters sharing their passion for CSA.
This week's featured staff member is Alex Imbesi, Senior Services Program Director:
Eyes: to see our older adult clients as valued members of our community with rich histories to share
Hands: to support every CSA staff member and volunteer working to make the lives of our clients a little brighter
Feet: to walk alongside our older community members as they navigate the aging process
Heart: to approach every client and their families with compassion, helping them push through challenges with every heartbeat

A Holiday Gift that Fits Everyone!
We will send a letter notifying the person that a gift has been made in his/her name, and you will receive a charitable gift receipt and CSA clients will benefit from your generosity. It's a win-win all around!
CSA is the community's safety net for over 10,000 men, women and children confronting the challenges of hunger, poverty and homelessness every day.
