    Holiday Sharing

We made a few changes to the Holiday Sharing program. This year we asked for donations of teen stocking-stuffers and gift cards for children and teens ages 9-17. This was the first year for this change and the response was amazing! We received over $11,000 in gift cards and served 331 families. Each family received a $15 gift card, 359 children ages 9-17 years old received $25 gift cards along with awesome stocking stuffers and children under 9 received toys. Gift cards allowed our clients to choose their purchases based on their personal needs and we are grateful that our mission to preserve their dignity was considered by donors this past holiday season. We were also able to serve 328 food bags to the families who picked up gifts for the holiday. Thank you to all of you who donated and/or contributed your time to CSA's holiday sharing program!

    Support Education!

CSA is a huge supporter of education. We would like to see the next generation of our clients transition from recipients to supporters. Our goal in supporting our school-aged clients is to not only provide backpacks but to include supplies to help them get a head start. We aim to have YEAR ROUND school supply drives to ensure we are able to provide each child with a backpack filled with grade-appropriate supplies. CSA will be accepting school supplies throughout the year as we ask for support in accomplishing this education goal for 2018.

School supply list available; please contact lclark@csacares.org for more information.
