The Ecumenical Hunger Program (EHP), a 40+ year old, private, non-profit, community-based organization located in East Palo Alto provides emergency food, clothing, case management, and household essentials to families in need in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto. In addition, EHP plays a major role in both advocating for, and providing referrals to resources available to low-income families and individuals in our community.
We accept volunteers Monday through Friday, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm. Some Saturday shifts are available. Hours vary and increase for our holiday distributions. Individuals, families, and corporate groups are welcome. Most essentially, we always need people to help stock/sort items in our food pantry, as well as distribute food and sort through clothes and household items. Please consider giving back your time and/or skills to your local community at EHP.
