“Stillness: Nature’s Gift” An Asian American Healing Convening

POST and Chopsticks Alley Art presents the 7th Asian American Healing Convening, a dedicated space designed to address the mental health challenges within the Asian American community. The gathering, set against the backdrop of Bear Creek Redwoods, features meditation, nature walks, plant identification, and communal meals. This event is exclusively tailored for individuals with an Asian cultural background or Asian identity, ensuring a secure space for meaningful discussions and connections. RSVPs are essential due to limited availability, and lunch will be provided for attendees. Chopsticks Alley Art created Asian American Healing Convening as a safe place for Asian Americans to meet to address the mental health challenges we are facing. We provide an intimate environment for us to connect, share, and reclaim our powers through food, storytelling, meditation, and art. Our goal is to continue providing AAh Convening every quarter to stay connected with our Asian community and continue building community to better support each other.? This is a safe space by and for the Asian community. We encourage you to share this link with your friends who could benefit from attending this event. For this event, we will be meditating, walking, eating, identifying plants, and enjoying nature. NOTE: Our goal with this gathering is to provide a safe space for those who have an Asian cultural background or identify as Asians only so that we may comfortably connect with others of similar backgrounds and discuss issues that are faced within the Asian community. For this reason, we ask those who do not identify as Asian to opt out of this gathering, and join us for one of the many other events and workshops we host on a regular basis!
