Artist Valerie Patten holds a Master of Fine Arts from San Jose State University. Her work has been on display throughout the Bay Area, including one-person exhibitions at Pro Arts (Oakland), DeSaisset Museum (Santa Clara) and the Henry Art Gallery (Seattle, Washington). Significant group shows have included ?The Impolite Figure? at the Southern Exposure Gallery (San Francisco), ?Crime and Punishment? at the Triton Museum of Art (Santa Clara), and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Rental Gallery (Fort Mason, San Francisco). Her work can also be found in numerous personal and corporate collections.
