Introduction to Motivational Interviewing Workshop
In this free introductory workshop, participants will explore the spirit of Motivational Interviewing (MI) through recognizing, maintaining and facilitating change and commitment. MI is a gentle, person-centered directive method of communication for enhancing intrinsic motivation to change by exploring and resolving ambivalence. Learn different communication modalities that help bring out the best in how you connect with and advise those on your caseload! * AOD certified professionals are eligible to receive 6 CEUs for attending the workshop. There is a fee of $25, made payable to The Fellowship Center (Authorized CCAPP Provider #IS-17-268-0719)
